We all know how easy it is to get disconnected from our bodies, our minds and from who we really are while complying to the various tasks and duties of modern life. But when aches and pains show up, stress and anxiety, depression and diminished motivation to roll out of bed in the morning, our bodies are telling us that something is amiss. We need to wake up. And we need to do that before burnout, illness or other serious wake-up call occurs.

Here is your opportunity! We offer a three part series of mind-body workshops that focus on reconnecting to your inner power and your heart, taming your mind and activating your brain while releasing stress and blockages, renewing your senses and cultivating awareness. Each class will have a theme related to a specific part of the body. We start with the lower abdomen or
‘tan tien' as the Chinese call it. The heart is next, and to finish we move up to the brain learning to improve communication and cooperative interaction between right and left hemispheres.

The format will be a combination of short talks, easy to follow movements, focused awareness, relaxation and discussions. It is all about the experience. Attending all three of the workshops gives the biggest benefits. But any one of them individually will get you started to awaken your connection to health and life. # 1 - Fire Up Your Energy

Are you lacking fuel to reach your goals?
Discover how to increase your strength and stamina

Do you recognize any of the following symptoms: lack of mental clarity and energy, digestion difficulties and skin trouble, shallow breathing, lower back pain, and holding on to old and negative thoughts and emotions? These are just some of the issues that might show up if your power center is weak.

This workshop offers you an opportunity to learn about your power center, the furnace that circulates energy throughout the whole body. Through focused awareness and simple movements we will playfully activate and
strengthen the "tan tien". The energy accumulated and stored can be used to let go of anything old and obsolete that doesn't serve us any more.

Have you experienced a heavy heart? Most of us have. When we are overworked, stressed or depressed, fearful or hurt, angry or frozen with grief, we often feel pain or contraction in the chest area. Negative emotions and attachments, deriving from our thoughts that we have allowed to run wild, have taken charge. We can't avoid having thoughts or emotions but we can choose if they are positive or negative and how they affect us once we have identified them. That is what this workshop is about.

To bring lightness and joy to our hearts we need to open up the flow of pure and healing energy through this midpoint area that links the energies of the mind and body together. By opening the energy pathways of the chest and heart through postures and breath- work, we can activate and strengthen this energy to achieve greater mental and physical harmony. # 3 - Power Up Your Brain
Is brain fog your constant companion? Or have you been accused of being too left brained? We seem to hear this all the time. The indigenous peoples of the world and the energy masters in the East would say that the general population in the western hemisphere utilize the left part of their brain far more frequently than the right part. We have been trained to solve problems through analyzing and rationalizing most often to the exclusion of feeling, sensing, intuiting. This causes stress, stifles creativity, and can bring on depression and many other negative phenomena.

But doesn't every human being want to be happy and motivated and tackle work and life through peak performance? How do we do that? Science is showing us what the indigenous peoples and the Eastern masters have always known. We can change our health and the way we feel and think by changing our brain waves through certain types of exercises, nutrition, meditation, and technological breakthroughs.

In this workshop we will introduce some of these ideas and experience simple moving techniques that will power up your brain to create balance and harmony within you and start you on the road to the brain fitness revolution.
